The Little Prince

Psaropouli, Evoia

Mantoudi, Strofylia, Agia Anna, Vasilika, Pili…

Well-known for its stunning landscapes, the region of Northern Euvoia is the ideal travel destination. Lush pine forests, riparian forests of old-grown plane trees and olive groves, as well as large sandy shores and serene beaches are everything one can ask for.

Giorgos and Helen decided to baptize their "Little Prince" in Prokopi, at the church of Agios Ioannis o Rossos (Saint John the Russian). His name: Ioannis-Dimitris.

At the crack of dawn, I found myself on the island's eastern coast, at the seaside village of Psaropouli. We roamed around the crystal clear blue waters of their own "little planet" by boat.

Their unassuming and loving attitude truly contributed to the result and I would like to thank them for that.

I would also like to mention my flawless collaboration with the extremely talented photographer Michael Pappas.

"On ne voit bien qu'avec le cœur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux."

It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”
